Belief/Intentionality/Quality/Qualia/Chalmers: one may say that there is no need for experiences with certain qualities to have a certain belief. It may be enough that a being is capable of conscious experiences at all. ((See Lockwood (1989)(1) and Nagel (1986 (2)).
