Natural kind/Wright: it must be possible that this conjunction, which was established a priori when it is established at all, had been not made in fact: e.g. it may be that indeed there simply is no interesting physical matter as a basis for the manifestations that have a prominent similarity for us.

E.g. when we assume that the term gold stands for a natural kind (WrightVs), then we have to admit that science could find out that there is nothing like gold at all.
