Pure individuating description: the only dog who was born at sea"
Quasi-pure: the tallest man who has lived so far.
Except for probability considerations no reasons that pure individuating descriptions apply to something.

Auditory world/Strawson/Schulte: through beginning and end alone of a tone signal there is no particular-recognition possible. No distinction whether the same or different tone (meaningless), therefore also no causality or action is possible.
