Language/Carnap: constructs two symbolic languages. In them he can give an exact definition of "analytic" and "the logical consequence of" etc.
 Then he constructs the logical syntax for a group of language systems that only need to meet certain conditions. The most important one: the logical nature of the elements of this language system must not depend on a non-linguistic factor.
That means that relationships are not readily determinable in natural languages, where pronouns like "I" or "this" occur.
