Influence of the past/parallel to fatalism (no influence on the future: E.g. the chief dances, so the young men may turn out to be brave (two days later). - Depending on the underlying beliefs evidence will speak in favor of superstition of the chief and even increase the likelihood. Cf. >Fatalism.
N.B.: knowledge of the future: depends on intention - knowledge of the past: does not depend on intention.
