Derivability/natural laws/physics/Genz: for physicists it is nothing new that some sentences are not derivable: they constantly add sentences about new initial conditions or new laws.
Gödel: has at best shown them that this process can never be completed.
Decidability/Genz: a discovery can decide a previously undecidable statement.
