Identity/elementary particles/individuation/identification/quantum mechanics/Genz: atoms and particles are without individuality. Two particles of the same type are absolutely identical. For example electrons, atoms or quark gluons.
They derive their reality from theory. It does not depend on whether we declare it real or not.
