Ideas/perception/Locke: there are "ideas" mediated by more than one sense: e.g. The ideas expansion, shape, movement, etc.
Ideas/perception/LeibnizVsLocke: these "ideas" (extent, duration, shape, etc.) come from the mind, not from the perception.
They are the "ideas of the pure understanding." But they have a relation to the external world and are thus capable of definition and proof.
