Paul Churchland (1942), Canadian philosopher of mind and neurophilosopher. His major works include Scientific Realism and the Plasticity of Mind (1979), A Neurocomputational Perspective: The Nature of Mind and the Structure of Science (1989), and The Engine of Reason, the Seat of the Soul: A Philosophical Journey into the Brain (1995). His fields of specialization are neurophilosophy, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of neuroscience.
