Paul Virilio on Terminology - Dictionary of Arguments

Sokal I 193
Dromocracy/Terminology/Virilio/Bricmont/Sokal: with "Dromocracy" Virilio describes the "rule of speed".
SokalVsVirilio: Revel(1) pointed out that "dromos" does not mean "speed", but rather "run", "race". The mistake is probably due to Le Monde, since Virilio(2) gives the right meaning.
Sokal I 194
SokalVsVirilio: Unfortunately Virilio confuses acceleration and speed.(3)

For the correct use of the concepts of physics , mathematics, and set theory see >Sokal/Bricmont
