Universalism: A. Universalism is a philosophy that assumes that there are universal values and principles that apply to all people. These values and principles are independent of culture, religion or other factors. See also values, cultural relativism, relativism. B. A special universalism is the universalism of everyday language, which assumes that every formalization, logical, mathematical or physical formula must in principle be expressible in natural language, otherwise it is meaningless.
