Society: "Society" refers to a group of individuals living together in a community, sharing common norms, values, and institutions, and often governed by established rules or laws. Society/Systems Theory/Luhmann/Habermas: N. Luhmann distinguishes three levels of integration or levels of system differentiation:
a) simple interactions between present actors,
b) the level of organizations constituted by available memberships,
c) the level of societies in general, which comprises all interactions accessible, i.e. potentially accessible, in social spaces and historical times.(1)
