Colin McGinn on Experience - Dictionary of Arguments

I 155f
Experience/McGinn: three-phase structure:
1) facts
2) state of recognizing.
3) an experience that combines them.
The event brings forth the experience and experience in turn generates the state of knowledge. So it is the experience that shows the mind the right direction. It is natural and essential to understand this dual causal relationship.
