Terminology/Political Science:
Def Policy: the contents, i.e. goals, strategies and instruments (e.g. regulations, provisions). These contents can be found in the programme and in the actions of actors (e.g. parties, associations or governments).
Def Outcome: Problem-solving ability of political action.
Def Politics: the political processes that lead to a certain policy. It is about problem perceptions and problem interpretations of actors, their interests, informal and formal power resources, as well as patterns of interaction.
Def Polity: the basis of existing norms and cultural orientations and the framework of the current institutional order.
