Modernism/Honneth: In contrast to traditional societies, the cultural orientation framework of socialization (see Socialization/Honneth) is not a static ((s) value horizon oriented towards a hierarchy and more or less harmoniously closed in itself, but pluralistic and open and dynamic in that it is itself entrusted to the permanent struggle for recognition, in which its contours always arise and constantly change only from the conflicts over moral claims.
