Humberto Maturana on Descriptions - Dictionary of Arguments

I 79f
Description/observation/Maturana: relations can not be described. - The observer decomposes a system by his interactions. - This lies in his cognitive domain. - Therefore description represents no living system.
>Relations
, >Systems/Maturana, >Domains/Maturana.
I 84
The logic of description is that of the descriptive system - contradictions occur only intervening interactions - contradictions therefore are not in behavior but in the description.
I 141
Description/Maturana: its logic is isomorphic to the logic of the operations of the descriptive system.
>Operation/Maturana.
