Stegmüller IV 384/385 Berkeley/Stegmüller: There is an ambiguity: a) Our view of the world is not correct. - b) God himself perceives a four-dimensional world - (of modern physics). 1. MackieVsBerkeley: The anatomy of perception also belongs to the physical world. 2. If there is freedom of will, we should also be able to bring about changes in God's ideas. 3. According to Berkeley God's ideas should be free of contradictions, but not complete. - I.e. not completely determined. - They have the status of intentional objects. For example, I can think of an object without knowing its exact place. - Analogously, God's ideas would also have to be indeterminate. 4.
