Form, philosophy: A. Form traditionally is an antonym of matter or content. Form is the structure or arrangement of something. It is the way that something is organized or composed. B. In logic it comes to the form in which statements must be expressed in order to allow conclusions. I 36 Forms/conceptual domains/Gärdenfors: in a conceptual domain represented as a two-dimensional coordinate system, regions can be represented simply. In this way shapes and patterns can be juxtaposed. E.g. rectangles, depending on whether they are higher (vertically extended) or square or wider than high, are represented in different regions of the domain. There is even isomorphism between the coordinate system and the space of these rectangles. E.g. squares are found along the line x = y.
