Robert Brandom (1950), American philosopher. His major works include Making It Explicit: Reasoning, Representing, and Discursive Commitment (1994), Between Saying and Doing: Towards an Analytic Pragmatism (2008), and A Spirit of Trust: A Reading of Hegel's Phenomenology (2019). His fields of specialization are philosophy of language, the philosophy of mind, and philosophical logic.
