Michael E. Dummett (1925 – 2011), British philosopher and logician. His major works include Frege: Philosophy of Mathematics (1969), Elements of Intuitionism (1977), and The Logic of Meaning (1975). His fields of specialization were philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of language, and philosophy of logic.
