| Thomas W. Hazlett: Thomas W. Hazlett: Thomas W. Hazlett is an American economist specializing in telecommunications policy and regulatory economics. He holds the Hugh H. Macaulay Endowed Chair in Economics at Clemson University, where he also directs the Information Economy Project. Hazlett has previously served as Chief Economist at the U.S. Federal Communications Commission and held faculty positions at institutions including George Mason University and the University of California, Davis.
