| Dale Jorgenson: Dale W. Jorgenson (1933–2022) was an American economist known for his work on productivity, economic growth, and investment. He developed the Jorgensonian investment model and contributed to econometric modeling and national accounting. A longtime professor at Harvard University, his influential books include Productivity and U.S. Economic Growth (1995) and Investment: Capital Theory and Investment Behavior (1971).
