Nicholas Kaldor: Nicholas Kaldor (1908–1986) was a Hungarian-British economist known for his work in Keynesian economics, growth theory, and taxation. He developed the Kaldor-Hicks efficiency criterion and the Kaldor growth laws. A key advisor to the British government, he advocated demand-driven growth and progressive taxation. His contributions influenced post-war economic policies and structuralist development theories.
