Michal Kalecki (1899-1970), Polish economist. One of the founders of post-Keynesian economics. His major works include Essays in the Theory of Economic Fluctuations (1939), Studies in Economic Dynamics (1943), and Theory of Economic Growth (1954). His fields of specialization were macroeconomics, business cycle theory, economic growth theory, and development economics.
