| Crypto Wash Trading - Economics Dictionary of Arguments | |||
| Crypto wash trading: Crypto wash trading is a form of market manipulation where an individual or a group of coordinated parties simultaneously or near-simultaneously buys and sells the same cryptocurrency. The goal is to create a false impression of high trading volume and demand, misleading other investors into believing the asset is more popular or valuable than it is. This illegal practice artificially inflates prices and distorts market integrity.
