| Marginal Product of Labour - Economics Dictionary of Arguments | |||
| Marginal Product of Labour: The Marginal Product of Labour (MPL) is the additional output produced when one more unit of labor is employed, holding other inputs constant. It reflects labor productivity and helps determine wages. MPL typically decreases as more workers are added due to the law of diminishing returns. See also Marginal product, Marginal productivity theory, Labour, Marginalism, Neoclassial economics._____________Annotation: The above characterizations of concepts are neither definitions nor exhausting presentations of problems related to them. Instead, they are intended to give a short introduction to the contributions below. – Dictionary of Arguments. | |||
