Procedural rationality: Procedural rationality in Max Weber refers to the use of efficient and effective means to achieve a predetermined goal. Weber argued that procedural rationality is a key characteristic of modern societies. It is evident in the bureaucratic organizations that manage many aspects of our lives, from schools and hospitals to businesses and governments.
