Mary Dietz (c. 1951), American feminist political theorist and the John Evans Emerita Professor of Political Theory at Northwestern University. Her major works include What Is Political? Theory and Practice in Feminist Thinking (1987), Reconstructing Values: Education for Human Flourishing (1994), and Citizenship with a Feminist Face: The Politics of Identities and Difference (1999). Her fields of specialization are feminist theory, the history of philosophy, and social and political philosophy.
