Pierre Duhem (1861 – 1916), French physicist, science historian, and philosopher of science. His major works include Leçons sur l'élasticité (1896), Thermodynamique et chimie (1897), and Les origines de la statique (1905-1914). His fields of specialization were physics, science history, and philosophy of science.
