Granville Stanley Hall (1846-1924), American psychologist and educator. His major works include Adolescence: Its Psychology and Its Relations to Physiology, Anthropology, Sociology, Sex, Crime, Religion, and Education (1904), Senescence: The Last Half of Life (1922), and Jesus, the Christ, in the Light of Psychology (1917). His fields of specialization were child psychology, adolescent psychology, aging psychology, religious psychology, and comparative psychology.
