Warren McCulloch (1898-1969), American neuroscientist and cybernetician. His major works include A Logical Calculus of the Ideas Immanent in Nervous Activity (1943, with Walter Pitts), Embodiments of Mind (1965), and The Reticular Formation (1966). His fields of specialization were neurophysiology, cybernetics, and philosophy of mind.
