| Reinhart Koselleck (1923-2006), German historian. His major works include Kritik und Krise: Ein Beitrag zur Pathogenese der bürgerlichen Welt (1954), Preußen zwischen Reform und Revolution: Allgemeines Landrecht, Reformgesetzgebung und Emanzipationsbewegung 1791–1849 (1967), and Vergangene Zukunft: Zur Semantik geschichtlicher Zeiten (1979). His fields of specialization were conceptual history, theories of historical times and memory, and social, legal, and administrative history.
