Gordon Tullock (1922-2014), American economist and professor of law and economics at the George Mason University School of Law. His major works include The Calculus of Consent: Logical foundations for constitutional democracy (1962), The General Irrelevance of the General Impossibility Theorem (1967), and Public Decisions and Public Goods (1971). His fields of specialization were public choice theory, political economics, and economics of law.
