Young Hegelians: The Young Hegelians (also known as Left Hegelians) were a group of philosophers, theologians and intellectuals who formed in the first half of the 19th century after the death of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1831). They interpreted Hegel's philosophy in a radical and often socially critical way. Marx and Engels were among them. See also Hegel, Marx, Engels.
