In his opinion, ChomskyVsGrammatical rules: Thesis: the grammatical structure of language is determined ((s) not according to the above rules) and is mastered by the speaker of the mother tongue "intuitively" (unconsciously). Lyons: the differences of opinion are exaggerated here. Not the whole grammar is indeterminate.
