His major works include Cybernetics: Or Control and Communication in the Animal and the Machine (1948), The Human Use of Human Beings: Cybernetics and Society (1950), and God & Golem, Inc.: A Comment on Certain Points Where Cybernetics Impinges on Religion (1964). His fields of specialization were mathematics, engineering, physics, and philosophy.
