| I think: the expression by I. Kant for his (narrower) conception of the "Cogito" by Descartes. “The “I think" must be able to accompany all my ideas" (KrV B 131f). This "I think" guarantees that these ideas are my ideas and creates, as a transcendental apperception, a unity in the manifoldness of ideas. Here, the action-character is most obvious. Self-consciousness produces unity ipso actu in connection. --- Adorno XII 178 "I think"/Kant/Adorno: that famous "I think" that is to accompany all my ideas is simply the consciousness unit, which consists in the fact that all the consciousness contents of a particular subject are characterized by their connection as those belonging to this and no other.
