Objectivity: is a property of determinations about facts. It is assumed that the properties attributed to the facts are determined by the facts and are not, or as little as, influenced by the attributing person. In order to determine whether this requirement is fulfilled, consideration must be given to the methods of access to information. This goes beyond the facts considered._____________Annotation: The above characterizations of concepts are neither definitions nor exhausting presentations of problems related to them. I 23 Object/Objectivity/Monod: there are two criteria for artefacts: 1. Regularity 2. Repeatability >Artifacts. For example, according to these criteria, one could decide that pebbles are natural and quartz crystals (falsely) artificial. The crystal reflects macroscopically the microscopic molecular structure. Therefore the regularity. (Natural origin). >Regularities. Our conclusions are ambiguous: one could find all the criteria of an artificial origin in a hive of wild bees. I 36 Objectivity/Monod: objectivity of nature: means the cancellation of the submission of a final cause, a "project". >Teleology, >Teleonomy, cf. >Purposes/Aristotle._____________Explanation of symbols: Roman numerals indicate the source, arabic numerals indicate the page number.
